Bonnie Abrams Travieso
Bonnie Abrams Travieso opened her law offices on April 1, 2002, after having practiced at Gallagher, Evelius & Jones, LLP for almost twenty years and heading its Estates and Trusts practice. She continues to work with her clients in a more personalized atmosphere and convenient location. Ms. Travieso focuses her practice on estate planning, planned charitable giving and the administration of estates and trusts.
Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Travieso served as an Assistant Attorney General for the Maryland Attorney General’s Office where she was the Counsel to the Clerks of the Circuit Courts, the Registers of Wills, and the Orphans’ Courts. This experience and her over twenty years in private practice have allowed Ms. Travieso to develop expertise in the areas of estate and trust planning and administration.
PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS and ASSOCIATIONS
Affiliations include Maryland State Bar Association, Maryland Estate Planning Council and the Chesapeake Planned Giving Counsel (Board Member). She formerly was a board member of the Maryland Estate Planning Council and the Board of Visitors and Governors of Washington College (1996 – 2002).
